Prayers in the Book of Mormon
This page is a collection of every prayer in the Book of Mormon, and is organized into three sections. First are the quoted prayers, which are addressed to God and recorded verbatim. These are mostly presented without additional context. The second section contains described prayers, where someone details a prayer without quoting it. The final section Spoken prayers are articulated sincere desires of the heart. Each prayer in the Book of Mormon generally has a given motivation that leads to that desire, a description of the desire, and a description of how that prayer is answered—sometimes immediately, sometimes after thousands of years. This section contains all words spoken directly to God, which sometimes includes praise etc., as seen in the first example.
